The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process is an important management tool ensuring that the potential environmental hazards and effects arising from a proposed project are identified and evaluated and that appropriate control measures are implemented. EIA's generally follow a standard methodology encompassing data gathering, the assessment process, proposing appropriate mitigation, documenting and presenting findings and follow-up monitoring of proposed actions. RBA has extensive experience of undertaking all aspects of the EIA process for both onshore and offshore oil and gas projects worldwide.
