Sarah Alexander
Holds a Bachelor's in Risk Management. She has over 7 years of HSE experience in the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry. Sarah has worked with Nexen Petroleum as the Offshore Management Systems Advisor for the North Sea Buzzard Development, which included coordinating transitional EHS arrangements during a change in operatorship and the implementation of a new safety management system for inclusion in the first Buzzard Operations Safety Case. Most notably Sarah project managed the development and implementation of an improved company wide operations risk assessment system and participated in the development and training of a electronic safe system of work which replaced a paper based permit of work system. She also worked with Amerada Hess as a Health and Safety Advisor supporting their 5 offshore platforms. The work included management and update of Operations Safety Cases, management of onshore Emergency Response arrangements including successful Y2K planning, production of safety statistics and annual reports and offshore incident investigation. Sarah is an Associate Member of the Institute of Risk Management and Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.
