Katie Moroney
has a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Melbourne, Australia and a Master of Social Science (Environment and Planning) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. She has a background in air quality analysis, including plume dispersion modelling, ambient and indoor air monitoring, odour impact assessments and emissions reporting. Prior to joining RBA Katie worked for Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Australia where her professional experience included the preparation of environmental impact assessments for a wide range of industry sectors, development consent/licensing applications and best practice technology reviews. She also has experience in the design and implementation of occupational hygiene monitoring programs for a number of different contaminants and hazardous substances risk assessment. Katie has three years experience in the mining industry with Rio Tinto, primarily working on the replication of mine processes in the laboratory and corporate social and environment reporting.
