Katie Burrows
has a degree in Behavioural Science. Prior to joining RBA she worked for a leading integrated engineering and service provider with diverse operations throughout Australia, South East Asia and the near Pacific. The Business Unit Katie worked for had operations encompassing the design, construction and commissioning of a wide range of projects across coal, oil and gas, petrochemical and metalliferous processing industries.

Katie has experience in the development, implementation and ongoing management of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, the mapping of procedures to current legislation to ensure compliance, auditing and continuous improvement.

Of note, was a ‘package’ developed by Katie to bridge the gap between the company safety systems and site implementation requirements to ensure a unified system of implementation and rollout across various projects and differing disciplines. As part of this, Katie provided on-site support to projects, during mobilisation and start-up, with continuous support provided throughout the life of the project.

Katie has also been involved the facilitation of risk assessment, the development of site specific procedures and site specific training packages.
