Julia Adamson
Has been involved in Health, Safety, Environment, Security and Social Responsibility within the oil and gas industry for over 15 years. After graduating in Chemical Engineering she specialised in safety and reliability engineering and quantified risk assessment. She joined the British exploration and production company, LASMO in 1990. Firstly working in the UK North Sea and then for nine years in South America. As HSE Manager in Colombia and then Venezuela she gained extensive experience in the development and implementation of management systems, compliance assurance with regulatory and industry standards, communication and motivation for HSE performance improvement and the development of social investment programmes. Prior to joining RBA, Julia worked as a consultant assisting clients with CSR strategy, management systems and reporting; HSE communication tools, the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems and general HSE management support. After living and working in South America she also speaks Spanish.
