Dr Emily Wood
Has a background in environmental science with a doctorate in marine chemistry, and postgraduate diplomas in analytical chemistry and environmental management. She also holds a certificate in Health and Safety.

She has 16 years of environmental consulting experience primarily to the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. She has extensive experience of both upstream and downstream operations in both on and offshore environment. Countries she has worked in include Bulgaria, Libya, Nigeria, Poland, UK, Romania, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.   

Her areas of expertise are in HSE management system development and implementation to company and international standards including OGP, ISO 14001 and OSHA 18000. She is a certified trainer and lead HSE MS auditor. She has also extensive experience of permitting and regulatory compliance, environmental impact assessment and mitigation planning. Other areas of expertise experience include due diligence and compliance auditing.

Dr Wood is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and is in the process of applying for chartered status.
